Drink Your Pee, Safely

Alarm bells across the world ring loud when fears of minimal drinking water emerge. However, addressing the issue, Argentine designer Leonardo Manavella has come up with an innovative device concept that will solve the drinking water problem, to some extent, in the drought-affected or unclean-water areas.

Hailed as “Agua H2O,” the emergency device that (I’m sure, you will doubt) converts urine, human or animal, into drinkable water.

All you have to do is pee on the ‘Activated Carbon’ in the device, where urine loses its color and flavor, and remove the container for fresh and clean water. Simply amazing!

Don’t you guys watch Ultimate Survival? But yes, I can’t think of the last time I was stranded in the Sahara with or without water…

Hi, come on in, can I fix you something to drink? How about some water? hmmm… don’t see that one working. And in addition, I can’t see someone crossing the desert with one of them on their back. Great idea, but perhaps a niche market of organic naturist hippies who live subsistent secluded lives…
