The brand Scott Naturals Tube-Free is a line of new tube-free toilet paper set to make its debut on Monday at Walmart – which means it might be hitting our shores if the big deal goes through.

Fact: Kimberly-Clark estimates that the 17 billion toilet paper tubes produced each year in the U.S. generate 160 million pounds of trash, or enough tubing to stretch over a million miles when placed end to end – so this little cut-back will have a big impact on the environment.

Tube free is leading the way, even ahead of the dispenser in this foul play restroom advertising campaign.
