Jean Galler Chocolate Extraordinaire!

What’s all the fuss about chocolate this week you may be asking yourself? Well, Easter is approaching and we’ve got our Chocadore Giveaway going on!

Below is a little “I bet you didn’t know that” piece…

Lange de Chat

Jean Galler was born into a luxury dessert environment. He liked working in the family con-fectioner’s shop that was founded by his grandfather in 1930.
At 16 years old, inspired by chocolate, Jean develops his knowledge and discovers new savours while he studied in Basel (Switzerland).

At 21 years old, he launched his own enterprise. 30 years later, the foundations of the company remain the same: passion for chocolate; pride in perfection; constant creativity.

Today, the team of more than 100 employees design, produce and market pralines, ice-creams, chocolate pâtisseries, filled chocolate bars, as well as chocolate tablets, Cat’s tongues (cartoon cats moulded from chocolate), spreads, bite-sized chocolates, and more!

The Galler brand is premium and competes with the best in the market. Their products (That you can win in our giveaway) are a rare find of quality in the South African market!

You can also buy Galler products at Chocadore, take a look at their site www.chocadore.co.za

Justin Timberlake Launching 901 Tequila

The pimp-mac-daddy himself, Justin Timberlake, has something new to toast: The singer and budding businessman is launching a new brand of tequila called 901.

Justin Timberlake 901 Tequila

It’s been in development for more than two years (more than double the time it takes to make a baby) and will only hit stores in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and St. Louis for now.

His spokesman said:

“901 is that time of night when your evening is ending, but your night is just beginning. It is also a subtle nod to his hometown”

…referring to the area code for Memphis, where Timberlake grew up.

You Can’t Blog on an Empty Stomach

Fillet Steak

Launching a new blog is a little like preparing a meal. Traditionally you need to organise your host, come up with a name (Thanks Charl!), choose a theme, setup your stats counter and have a clue about what you’re going to be saying before you implement the grand plan.

That way you can spam your mates and have them feel like they’ve just seen Steve Jobs announce the latest iWhatever in person. Wow!

This way (my way) is slightly different….

My new blog, much like this post (which shows you how I create the ultimate steak), will unfold over time. I plan to be broad with my subject matter and will share the steps I will be taking to build a successful (I hope) blog.

In the mean time, enjoy my steak…
