Mercedes-Benz E Class Coupe Adverts
Talk about inventive! Aren’t these Mercedes E Class ads great? They’ve combined words to create new awesome ones like Superfect:

…and Fabuttractive:

The car’s not too bad either!?

We’ve looked at various camera and photography adverts in the past. This great advertising campaign from Omax, for their wide angle lenses, certainly gets an invite to the club!

Spying on the lunch picnic lesbians?

Sneaking a peek at the tourist tush?

Soaking up some the sight of holiday honies?
Omax wide angle lenses let you do it all I guess?
Levi’s has really done a great job with these adverts:

Not only do they get the message across, they also build amazing brand association.

Kudos!
Panasonic has jumped on the face recognition bandwagon with their advertising. The message is smart, but it’s a pity…

…not only are they too late, but also less effective! Remember the adverts showing how the Nikon S60 Detects 12 Faces? Check them out!
Based in Cape Town running Anything Goes (his advertising agency), Shaun Duvet, has chosen to push all boundaries in 2009! For those of you that don’t know, Duvet is also the main man behind the Bang Bang Club as well as a prominent DJ/Producer.

Despite looking very serious above, he’s an energetic and fun chap who started playing music 13 years ago and has been lucky enough to work with the likes of Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Global Underground, Hed Kandi, The Playboy Mansion, Buddha Bar as well as a heap of other international artists.
Head over to www.shaunduvet.com to find out more about the man, his track releases and view his live gig calendar too.
This great ad is for Loctite Super Attak glue. Much like the Electrifying Eveready Advertisement, its simple and effect double page spread reeks of high quality subdued advertising!
This brilliant ad was created by Black River FC to celebrate MINI’s 50th birthday. Click it for a larger version aaai!
I’m a sucker for good advertising. So when I saw this subtle ad for Eveready Alkaline Plus batteries, I just had to share it with you…

I think they’ve achieved an excellent message without putting a single word of copy on the page – just a shot of the product and the sensationalised effect it has.
What you see here is a new semi-brilliant advert from Volkswagen…

It’s for the new R32 performance Golf and I think the concept is fantastic – a politically correct gang of young gents (and their dog) are terrified to get their soccer ball out of the street in case a Golf R32 comes roaring past and knocks them over.
Problem for me is that the boys don’t really look that terrified. Actually they look like they’ve been staring at their ball for the better half of the day as if Michael Jackson was about to suddenly pop out?!
I think the advert would have been far more effective if one of the boys were leaning forward looking down the stretch of road contemplating taking the chance!
