Money is the sixth track on Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon and you will ALL recognise the song by the sound effects that open the track: coins clinking, a cash register ringing, etc. The song has been covered more than ten times, but most notably by Velvet Revolver for the soundtrack of The Italian Job in 2003.

The song also features on the PULSE tour album which I must punt as the best concert ever to take place on earth! Just watch the video below of Money being performed live and try tell me it’s not hot right now!

Trillion Dollar Advertising Campaign

The Zimbabwean has launched a great ad campaign using money to make their billboard. I’m guessing it’s cheaper than vinyl printing?

Either way, the message is great and hopefully ol’ Bob will take a hint.

Measurements were taken of a $10,000 stack of $100 bills (just half an inch thick!) and pretty much multiplied from there using simple geometry. In the trillion dollar shot above, each pallet holds $100 million… and the pallets are double stacked.
